1. Do any of you do or get any body waxing?
I do a little at-home waxing on my fuzzy upper lip- a problem all too common in women my age. It works quite well, so I decided to get ambitious and try to do my own legs. Not a disaster but not a great result either. Too many places I can’t easily see or reach. So I did what I could & touched up with the electric after I showered.

If I really want this done again, I will pay someone else to do it.

  2. Can't you get your husband to help? Plenty of guys here are happy to shave their wives legs. It seems to me that waxing is just one step away from that.

  4. That's too bad. He might have had fun with it right after an argument.

  6. @Sara-s all depends on what wax and what strip.
A good combo makes it easy and super effective.
  7. Men do waxing too ...

  11. I occasionally have my eyebrows waxed. It is important for me that I go to a place that uses a stick to apply the wax instead of the roller. For some reason the roller application hurts way more than the stick.

  12. I do my body waxing with Turtle Wax. It gives me that mirror shine afterwards.
  13. I felt the need for a little indulgence today. So I went to a salon and had my legs waxed (knee down.) Interesting.

  14. Did it work better than doing it yourself?
  15. Absolutely. She got to all the places (e.g. behind the calf) that I can’t see or easily reach.
