I produced wonderful amounts of good lather! With the VDH luxury soap, I found that I need to soak a layer of warm water on it for a while before loading my brush and then add quiet a bit of water when whipping up the lather.

Howdy! Congratulations on the lather! I have found that about 3 drops of glycerin added enhances the lather. I like my lather warm so I use a scuttle for this purpose. Makes for a nice shave! Always, Gene
