I hate waste whenever I can avoid it, even if the results aren't always pretty. I've never forgot a saying the Marines I worked with had: if it's stupid, but it works, it ain't stupid. Words to live by (at least when restoring junked razors).

And if anyone's interested, these Sharpies are at WM for under $5.
