I'm sort of a newbie, but I'm not.. been lurking here a while and a member of another forum for a couple of months. Got into straight razor shaving about 3 months to break the monotony and add some "Fun" to my morning shave on my days off. I've dramatically improved over the past few weeks and have since accumulated a small collections of brushes, blades and shave creams. Nothing in comparison to some members I've seen here, but I'm quite happy with my small shave den. I look forward to discussions and learning from the more experienced members. Welcome! Pilot, eh? Are any US carriers flying MD11s for passenger service anymore? I see FedEx MD11s here (BDL), but I don't know of any others offhand.
Flew it for Gemini and later EVA.. but now I'm actually on the A319 with a small "startup" out of Columbus! The Mad Dog however remains my favorite of the 9 airplanes I've flown in my professional career thus far.
