1. Y'know, sometimes I just get downright sad. Tonight I got to thinkin' about a friend who is no longer with us. Although it's been a couple of years since he passed away, I can still see him sitting there smiling at a nearby table at one of the many knife shows we attended together.

I am really thankful that my wife got him to make me a folder for my birthday a while back. His work is out and out amazing. What a nice man he was. I'm sorry y'all didn't get to know him.

Here is the knife he made for me...
  2. That is a very beautiful knife, and I would think a warm memory!
  3. Hang in there, Bill

we'll be here for you 'til you get to see Jim again

  4. Beautiful Blade Bill. Glad you have a keepsake that you can remember him with.
  5. Good memories Bill. Keep them in your heart. He's still with you.
  6. Wow, sorry I missed this one earlier. Bill, that is one outstanding knife. I love that kind of scroll work. That man was truly talented. You have a treasure you can remember him with always!
  7. THis is a lovely memory and one helluva fine knife.
Even the filework on the spine and backspacer is terrific!
