1. My mirror is right above my sink so I warm my hot towel soak my brush the mirror steams up then I spend the next 5 mins trying to de fog it. Any suggestions. Thanks.
    Nathan.
  2. A $1 (or less) can of cheap shaving foam (not gel), smeared around on the glass and wiped down. It'll keep fog off quite some time.
  3. I just buy the anti-fog windex, since i clearn the mirrors anyway it's a win/win combo.

  9. Since the minions switched the hair dryer an the freeze blower a few times, I don't use a hair dryer anymore... Ever tried to straighten frozen hair before?

  11. You could pick up a fogless mirror with suction cups.
  12. Actually, I used to do it a lot, when on my way home from swim practice, on cold days.

  14. RainX makes an anti-fog liquid to apply to windows and mirrors. That's what I use. One application keeps the fog away for at least a year.

  15. I just wash my mirror and the fog stays away for a while. When it starts appearing again I am reminded that it is time for another cleaning :)
  16. You need a steam-heated bathroom mirror. Boiler in the basement. Will produce plenty of heat for your towel warmer too. Toasty. Nice. With the right attachments hot water is always available for tea, or to fill a hot water bottle before bed. Don't skimp! Disregard the temporary half-way measures mentioned above - do it right! :bath:
  17. There is a purple "miracle" liquid that prevents fogging called Worley's Wonder. You can get it on line or at many home improvement or design shows. I'm sure there are plenty of similar products out there.
  18. Great thread, I will be trying some of my old goop on my mirror tonight. I've been showering with the door wide open so that the steam would not collect...and it's always freezing when I get out.
