Been here a few days but didn't get around to making an intro yet. I come from the bald ol Canadian prairies. Wetshaving for the past several months, after water-only disposable shaves the entire time I was in the army and no-guard trimmer stubble/"shaves" outside. 99% of the time I face lather Arko with an Omega boar brush, rotating through a few types of blades in my patent-pending 40's style Gillette Rocket, and rotating through my modest collection of aftershaves. Outside of shaving, I'm an electrical engineer working in the oil industry, and I'm into guitar, camping, waterskiing, rock climbing, weightlifting, cars, and recently started collecting old watches
High their, @ghostlife , from North Cackalacky. Glad to have you join us. Check out Fellowship of Cold Water Shavers.
Welcome to TSD @ghostlife. Anyone who uses an old Gillette, an Omega boar, & ARKO fits in well around this gathering. But watch out for The Enablers. Before you know it you may begin to experience The Acquisition Disorders. A very few veteran shavers started and have maintained their Minimalist style. Others went through Razor AD, along with the associated Brush, Soap, Blades, After Shaves, then found their desired products and divested their den's of the unused gear. How ever you Shave Journey plays out, we're here to answer questions and offer guidance should you reach out.
Welcome to The Shave Den. I'm glad you found us. You're off to a great start on your shaving journey.
Glad you joined us, welcome! You've got a nice set-up, you've chosen wisely what gear to get started with. The Rocket is a world-class razor, enjoy your shaves!
