I automatically assume a person is packing heat (or is a foreign tourist) if I see a fanny pack. No one else ever wears one anymore, which is kind of a pity, as a fanny pack is more convenient than a messenger bag or cross-body backpack, which is what replaced the fanny pack as the socially acceptable 'man purse.'
Well, I found one (forget the name), didn't like it, sent it back. So I purged my current bifold, slipped it into my front pocket, so far, so good. Still getting used to having it up front, but it's working.
I've been using a Grip6 wallet for a few years and it works great. I carry a few cards and bills comfortably in my front pocket.
I keep them in my front pockets. The cards are evenly split between them. When I get cash from the bank the hundreds go in the left wallet and when I spend them, the change goes in the right wallet and then I spend that. The left one is a Barmah, kangaroo skin, very thin, very tough.

Sorry for reviving this thread. Couldn't find a newer one about wallets. Anyone here has any recommendations for a good, durable leather wallet? I've always liked leather, but the ones I had were pretty cheap and didn't last long.
Google full grain leather wallets. Avoid top grain or bonded leather. Full grain will last quite a long time. A bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. And look for RFID. That protects your credit cards from being scanned through your pocket!
always had leather bi fold,recently purchased a secrid .great wallet so farfits the front pocket easily..
I like made in USA wallets ....... North Star Leather I have worked in the environmental fieldwork also as maintenance and around the world in ministry this wallet wears like a tank. I purchased the trifold trucker wallet because it snaps closed like this though I asked for it to be un-embossed and black. When I received it I removed the chain.
I’ve been using a Style N Craft hipster wallet I found on Amazon. It’s made of glove soft leather and is pretty straightforward. None of those plastic windows for IDs. I hate those since the only times I am obligated to show ID is at the doctor’s office of when being pulled over by police but it can’t be in anything. It’s bigger than a normal wallet and for years I kept putting things in that wallet until I had a Costanza wallet. I cleaned it out, got rid of cards and little pieces of paper and anything else unnecessary. Now I hardly notice it’s there. It’s not the wallet that is obtrusive. It’s all the unnecessary crap we put in it.
