Wow, that's a lot of terminology for something i thought was a brush is a brush is a brush. apparently i have stumbled upon another subject of which i was oblivious. Will have to read up on this, might start thinking of making some of my own one day. Thanks for the breakdown on terminalogy
I should probably add "Glue Bump" too while I'm here... And there you go, "Glue Bump" is added to the list, back to hibernation.
Aaron, Thank you for this excellent primer on brushes. Now, at last, I know what that funny thing is that I rub on my face every morning. Mickey
Bumping? I have been home all day. I don't recall bumping anybody. But I apologize if i did. I hope I didn't hurt you. Mickey
As I knew what I was getting for my birthday(shave set) I waited a few days before shaving so I could use it today. I eagerly awaited the moment to open the gifts wrapped in the colors of my favorite team, Denver Broncos, then it was time and found an awesome looking shave set from Edward London. Awesome looking set, I thought, as I almost ran to the bathroom sink and turned on the hot water to prewarm the brush as I loaded the new blue streak blade into the bay doors of the new razor. Grabbed the new brush to lather up the captains pick and the knot came out of the handle !!!! Argggghhh so rather than send it back and get the same problem again, thinking about just fixing it myself. Question is what can I use ?? Any 2 part epoxy ?
Bummer! Clear silicone will hold plenty strong enough, yet make for easy knot removal in the future, should the need arise.
