thank you Jody.this handle is originally from my #44 rfb set.i use a fat tech handle or other with the rfb razor as they are head heavy.i have these handles on my french rfb's as well.the solid/closed end version of these handles seem harder to find.
the underrated brit ball end the perfect daily shaver these were sold in this configuration from the mid 50s to early 60s in england and canada.
I think the open ball is harder to find and more rare than closed ball. I see closed ball often but hardly ever see open ball which is why it caught my attention and comment... ?
maybe just luck when i got mine,i have 3 left. ,2 are from french sets.the one shown is from my later brit set.no pat numbers on it..
yep,was a restorable early bostonian case..the lifting tray one..wanted to put a favorite razor in with a reline /polish etc..not happy..will have to find another..
1961 brit rocket it has the smaller twist knob like the parat.. the only non HD500 set England marketed as a "rocket" compared to my early 50s rocket on left, whick sadly has a broken center post.. note the larger twist knob and no "II" on the base plate.
