Description: This meal is a staple in my family. You can use beef, pork, chicken, whatever meat you like, and even whatever veggies, too. Or, like Will, no veggies. Time: 40 minutes Difficulty: Medium Serving Size: enough for 4-5 people...........sometimes  Ingredients: 1 lb Pork 1 lb Potatoes 1 lb Carrots 2 Large Onions 2 Tbsp cooking oil water 2- 3.5 oz. S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix packs Preparation: Peel and cut potatoes, carrots, and onions. Cut meat into roughly 1x1 inch chunks. Cut curry mix into small pieces for easier melting. Instructions: In a large pot, brown meat and half of onions in cooking oil. Add carrots, potatoes, and rest of onions. Add enough water to cover meat and vegetables. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, add Curry Sauce Mix to the pot, and stir until sauce is completely melted. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve over rice or noodles.
S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix can be found at some grocery stores. I get mine from Wal-Mart, but only one Wal-Mart out of the 4 in my area carries it. You can also order it online. I use the Medium Hot. Not too spicy, just right, but YMMV.
Almost any Japanese grocery store in your area will be sure to carry the S&B curry mix! They carry a hot, medium, and mild style!
Yes, they may have it, but not necessarily all the different styles. I've lived in many towns/cities in many states in the US, and S&B curry can be hard to find in some places.
Dude, when I was there, they put whatever they could find in curry. Pork, Chicken, Eggs, Fish, Eel, and yes... even vegetables. Didn't much matter what was in there though. It was all good.
I know spark, I had everything but the veggies. Did you know eggs have a "season" their. I was not used to that.
