That is pretty scary. So far, so good. I try to keep all my soft ware up to date and I'm careful not to click on unknown links.
I just spent 8 hours working on indentifying and removing scareware. I had ads showing up on every page everywhere and was getting redirected to sites. These guys are really good. Regular adware is fairly easy to block, but scareware is incredible. I don't open any e-mails or attachments unless I am 100% certain of the sender and that they did indeed send it. Somehow, two of these viruses slipped in piggyback on something I was working on. At least it is back to normal. I need a good cigar now.......................
