My first Stirling experience will happen soon...so many great choices(as I've said before).

Never smelled Creed but I cannot distinguish between Fine Platinum and Floid Black.

I have the soap and balm, but I didn't buy the splash! Now I feel like I'm missing out, bigtime.

Stirling soaps are wonderful and their Coniferous is a favorite of mine. Bonaparte and Glastonbury are first rate too.

I'm going for the Coniferous A.S. as we approach fall-perhaps even their 5.8 soap.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on an Executive Man shaving soap but I cannot buy the matching aftershave because it's alcohol-based. In the meantime I know what the Sharp Dressed Man and Green Irish Tweed scents are like now because of my Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap!

the EM soap was the one I couldn't research on my computer, but Rod sent me the most recent 20 reviews. Great customer service :).

I just did a sniff test of the Green Irish Tweed/Aventus vs Rod's balms and they're extremely close. Considering that the balms have other ingredients/content to be an aftershave, that's mighty impressive.

JR Reyes I scream for....chicken wings??

I found the top notes and introduction to be very close, but the scent is still missing the smoky depth and base notes to complete the overall experience of the scent. I will add that executive man is closer than GG's interpretation IMO. I prefer the scent from KO shave (silver), but not the lather performance.

The search continues for a dead ringer...
