Decided to use my natural hair brushes this week since I've been using synthetics recently and they are feeling neglected. Really, they told me so. All of them are on the shelf calling out "Use me, use me". What can you do? Now go enjoy your day folks.

SOTD: Monday, February 22 Proraso Sapone SOC Boar Mühle R41 Personna Med Prep (1) Proraso AS & Balm Wow. What a difference a brush makes. In this case not good. The SOC Boar came in a distant second to the CH2 Synthetic. Could NOT get enough product on the brush. Results: Insipid lather. I am going to work with this combination (razor will vary) until I get this lather right or it's gone...whichever comes first. The R41/Med Prep zipped through the two day old stubble without issues. Still enjoying a BBS, but pondering how I can get great lather from the Boar. Have a great day!
Hello TSD. Dusted off my Bullet Tip today: - Mixed soap leftovers - Semogue OC badger - GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip - GEM Stainless blade - Homemade Bay Rum AS Nice shave, though I have been a little overconfident with the GEM. The Bullet Tip is pretty mild, but it CAN bite if you don't pay attention. I didn't - and paid for that with a few tiny blood spots. Nothing serious though - two passes left my face 50% BBS, the rest is DF, I'd say. And I like my homebrewn AS - though I probably won't use it in the summer months. Smells too much like christmas Have a great day

SOTD February 22, 2016 Noxema preshave Gillette Heavy Tech / Gillette Silver Blue Semogue / TOBS Natural WH / Nivea Sensitive Wow!!! Day 2 with the Silver Blue and another awesome shave. This blade is amazing. It hardly feels like there is a blade in the razor and yet it provides an amazingly close and smooth shave. When I started this blade trial I didn't really think I could find a better blade than the Astra SP...but...dare I say...it just might happen!
I'm looking for the longer handle and maybe a case... I found this one in the wild almost a year ago on my birthday.
