    Excellent cream
I used Ahava non lathering cream today and I'm impressed. This will be my go to for travel and if I'm in a hurry, since I need no pre shave at all. The cream goes on clear, and I can see the whiskers getting reduced with each pass. It rinses cleanly from the razor and has a mild scent that won't interfere with any aftershave. I got it for sale as part of a kit while I was in Israel last week. I finished with For Flint aftershave because I love the citrus/grassy/moss cologne scent. A real work of art, imho.

What a freeze and what lather this Grapefruit Menthol soap from OSP gives. In addition to it, I had another arctic-like blast from the Rubby Dubby Doo which made the end of this great shave all the more pleasurable! :happy088: :happy088:

    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Razor: Maggard MR1 with V2 open comb
    Brush: Trader Joe's synthetic
    Lather: TSD unscented shave stick
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with drug store 'New Spice', Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Pretty good CCS again this morning. The soap stick lather is drying up on my chin and neck and I have rehydrate it or reapply lather from the brush. I don't have that issue with other soaps. I've got to do some more trial and error with the water and lathering of the stick. I reapplied some lather and got it in shape to shave and then followed up with the first pass with some touch-up. Nice shave all in all.

In any case, the quality of the soap and post-shave feel is first rate. I think TSD products are really exceptional.

I hope you have a great Wednesday!

    SOTD - Wednesday 02.24.16

Pre: Hot shower, Bull Dog face wash
    Brush: Semogue 620
Soap: Nancy Boy Blossomwood shave cream
    Razor: Gillette Super Speed (1969)
    Blade: Rapira (1)
Post: Soap Commander Integrity unscented balm

This was my first time using a Nancy Boy product, and this one I got off of a B/S/T. I was able to use only the small amount of cream left on the lid from shipping to build an incredible lather. The scent was new to me but enjoyable and lasting. While I tend to like Rapira blades, this combination of razor and blade was not my favorite. As always, the Integrity balm was a solid performer.

    Omega / Proraso Blue
WH / Shea butter / Proraso ASB

We are on a roll! The GSB continues to shine. What an amazing blade.:happy088: Still sharp and smooth. The Proraso Blue cream is also very nice....just like all Proraso products it provides plenty of thick lather and it is very slick. I love the post shave feel of this cream...a true pleasure.:chores016:

    Prep: shower
    Lather: IanS soap
    Brush: Omega 10066
    Razor: Blackbird
    Blade: Persona Lab blue (4)
    Post: Avon Island Lime

IanS is a hobbyist who formerly made some soaps and this puck is among the first I purchased several years ago. It makes up a slick and creamy lather. I can't really identify the scent but it smells somewhat like motor oil and leather. I like it. The Omega brush does a fantastic job of face lathering. The Blackbird and Persona offered absolutely no surprises and 2 passes delivered a DFS. Finishing off with the Avon Island Lime gives me a citrusy start to my day.

    Cheers!
