They are kind of heavy, kind of big, but they produce some incredible results. The blades for these things of course are surgical sharp which helps. I would recommend buying one.

This morning on a whim I decided to use my JR #12 brush and my photo was already taken so it's not pictured. Today I tried a Rapira Platinum Lux in this razor and it worked beautifully. I now have three shaves with the R41 with three different blades and they've all worked fantastically in it. This brush makes such great face lather and the squarish handle is so well suited for loading and lathering, I don't know why I put it away for so long. Wonderful dolphin smooth shave today, this razor is so much fun. Have a wonderful shave and a wonderful day guys.

SOTD 02/25/16 '52 Gillette Super Speed Crown Stainless(4) Badger Body Prescription's cream Cold Water Rinse Body Prescription's A/S Balm Stephan Bay Rum A/S(forgot to put in the pic.) This morning I got into that Zen like state while shaving and everything went smoothly,resulting in a really great shave. I always seem to get a great shave with my Super Speed Razors never had an issue at all,day four on the Crown blade and still smooth as day one!! So when all is said and done I ended up with a BBS finish!! HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!! HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!

I wasn't really up to taking such a Grand Freeze like my bro Ray, so I went easy on the menthol this morning. The Paradise Frost soap gave me a bit of a cooling tingle on my second pass with lather porn and its wonderful scent. The Amici aftershave thinks it's an eau de toilette - it not only smells beautiful, it lasts all day and its menthol effect is actually quite pleasant. BBS again with no issues!
