1. Nice looking razor as well!

"Find a good background and wait for something to happen" :)
  10. A man and his camera stand near Tower Bridge and a handsome razor walks past... I might try that one day :D:D

    Shave report number 1a:
1a? What the??? Yes, this is a first shave of the Bunny at my household - but by a different member of the family. That's right, the fairer sex has been initiated to the Bunny. After overcoming her fear of getting some nasty cuts and trying it out first on her arm to get exposure to the angle and pressure, my wife gave it a spin on her legs. Here's the headlines as recorded by your intrepid, on-the-scene, reporter:
    • Oh, that's cold!
    • It feels good in the hand once it's been warmed up.
    • I like the silver and gold.
    • This seems pretty easy to use, easier than I thought.
    • Feels smooth.
    • I like it.
No nicks, no cuts, and smooth, smooth legs at the end. Really fast, not much different from the disposable. Certainly faster than it would be on my face and she was using just soap for a lubricant. It was all done with a Mild comb and new Schick blade. One ATG pass was all it took.

My conclusion: It looks like the Bunny goes both ways after all. In all seriousness, with a little instruction on the different angle and pressure it was a breeze and the market may have just expanded dramatically.

  12. :happy097: Hilarious! Great write up! I guess the Bunny's built for a man but soft enough for a woman....:happy097:

  14. I think the type H was part of the inspiration for the bunny along with the repeating razors but Tom can say for sure if this is true.

  15. Yes it was. The H was where I got the head geometry inspiration. So I took how the spring went out farther to give the blade angle. As for the repeater, I liked how the spring was so simple. The F for obvious reasons I incorporated the aluminum and Bronze. Then finally, what I think is one of the best things. The open comb from old Gillette's. I find them to be the smoothest to use.

So there you have how I Arrived at the Bunny's design.

    Karl,

Great writeup. Be sure to thank your wife for me. By the way was that her first time with an injector?

    Tom
  16. She says, "you're welcome." First time shaving with an injector. :happy036:
  17. Fantastic. Two successful first time injector users. Your wife and my Dad. I like it. Did she find the handle slippery? That is why my dad chose to use my V2 for the groves.

  18. She said the handle was "a little bit" slippery but had to think about it.

  19. Thank you for sharing this with us Tom! I remember reading your post on the H and have followed along with your design. That's why I posted my comment. I'm going to be glad to finally get my hands on it! :eatdrink013:
