How many members use no more than two razors?

To answer the question your thread title asks - I have no idea.

 

I am in a 90 day trial of two straight razors. All my razors are now tried out on a "Love it or PIF it basis...", and if I don't love something I PIF it to the newbie drawing or something. My goal is to own and use three straights, one DE ('59 FB) and my Dad's J-type Schick Revere. So, eventually, I will basically own 5, but will be primarily using the 2 best straights. I am not a collector, but rather someone who made heady newbie style uninformed purchases, and ended up with an embarrassing number of razors, for me anyhow. This razors need homes that love them more than I ever will!

Stay tuned, I still have more razors to PIF later as the year progresses.

With 26 +/- (lost count) DE razors, I rotate them once a week.

On the other hand, I only have one straight razor. Does that count?

With the hiding them from the wife thing I've honestly lost track of how many razors I have.

 

I rotate a Feather razor and a ikon rozor. I keep a Progress for travel. As always, it's good to see members preferred shaving tools.

 

I have over 50 razors, but I only use one at a time.

 

I actually use Gillette Slim, Fatboy, BB adjustable's, OC Ball Tech, Weber PH Classic handle, Miromatic OC and CC , 1910 Everready SE

 

If its a safety razor I am using then only one really, British TV superspeed (I have also used a gem CCMM once this year) but most of the time I use straights which do get rotated.

 

Not me. I have approximately 40 new and vintage razors and use them using a random, "what-do-I-feel-like-today" system. I admire your ability to only have one or two.

 

Actually, when I started this thread, I wanted to see how many members rotate two or less razors. I know that the majority seem to collect or own quantities of razors. I wanted to hear from the minorities.

 

I use a Super Adjustable at #8 WTG and #5 ATG or a 55 Red Tip WTG and a post war Fat Tech ATG. Only razors I use.

Just two...although I am a newb. Merkur HD and an EJ with a Weber handle.

 

I only have two safety razors, an EJ and a Van der Hagen. I do have a few handles for some cartridge razors but I don't have any cartridges for them.

 

I recently thinned my collection down to three birth year & quarter Gillettes. A BET, a flare tip Super Speed and a Slim. I enjoy trying out other razors but tend to fall back to my trusty Slim most of the time.

 

It seems as though I'm using only two razors right now, my Blackland Blackbird and a Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip. I do have 14 razors available to me at the ready and a number in storage.

 

Since I got the Blackbird, it is basically the only razor I ever use. I have traveled with a different razor, and that's about it. I no longer have a rotation of any sort.

 

I rotate between my Fatip Grande and my gold Joris, which are both very similarly designed razors. I have a Merkur 23c that I haven't touched in months, the razor that started it all but just doesn't do much for me anymore.
