Ikon Slant/ Wilkinson (not a great pairing) Envyshave Alluminati Gentlemens's Refinery Still got a great shave despite the poor match of razor and blade. Generally I like the Wilkies but I won't be using them in the Slant again.
Monday - 29/02/2016 - Shave Razor: Gillette Tech with Personna Handle Blade: Rapira SS (2) Soap: Proraso Green Tea & Oat Brush: Isana Men Pure Badger AS Balm: Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol I usually use proraso pre-shave cream before the shaves but its a magnificent choice as an after shave balm, the best I've ever experienced.
The Shaving Shop/ Gingers Garden/ Acqua di Florida Vulfix 660S Medium badger & suribachi bowl O.C. 3 piece Frankenrazor and Rapira SSS blade Alum block and Murray & Lanman Florida Water Great tallow soap from our @soapbuddy at Gingers Garden. This might be the first time I've used a badger brush with it. Excellent lather, creamy thick & slick. Swapped a different blade into my newest razor. Cheeks and chin feel smooth, but I just can't get a Gillette Slide from this open comb head to work on my neck. This "Bostom N.R.K." base plate is a mystery. Still & all, a good shave.

Very exciting morning, yesterday evening with some help from @Redfisher I joined the East Coast Bunny pass around! Tom suggested I pick up a Type E or G for practice. I'm seeing some crappy stuff on the bay. If anyone has a decent one for sale or a loaner please advise. On to my shave, I must be some kind of abominable snowman! Twice the ice today with Cryogen and Proraso Green for a fantastic blizzard of face freezing uber lather.... The R41 continues to amaze, especially with the Rapira Platinum Lux...what a smooooth blade. The Omega Pro #48 is such a great brush...why haven't I been using it!? Spectacular shave this morning. Menthol Monday Krampert's soap and aftershave work well together for me. I got a drama free shave and a pleasingly cold start to my day. The lather was very thick and the scent reminds me of an alpine forest in winter. Pi Neo is a great compliment to this combo.
