SOTD 3-2-16 Razor: E4 Schick w/ ped tella blade Vie Long Horse Hair Lather and Aftershave balm by Perfectly Neutral Soaps on Etsy. This soap whipped up into a good lather with great slickness, just a little lacking in the cushion department. The ASB repaired the skin well too. Only thing I'm not a big fan of are the scents, they are nice, but as for bay rum goes it's a little too cloveish for my tastes, but it is still a nice scent. Today's shave ended in a CCS. Here's the deal for Thursday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26 mm Synthetic Super Speed/Astra day 4 First Canadian Polar Vortex SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Fine Snake Bite AS Grey Flannel EdT Back to my trusty Super Speed with the Astra blade transplanted from my Chinese-made Junjie. I'll still be using my awesome Plissoft brush which is a real treasure. The Polar Vortex soap is another fabulous "iceberg" which is made in Canada - this stuff lathers to beat the band, it smells nice enough, and its menthol power is POTENT. A couple of splashes of the Snake Bite aftershave are enough to just about numb you and make your eyes tear all morning. The fact that it's unscented is great because it won't foul up the scent of an eau de toilette.
Thursday Planned Shave Pre-a fresh new Dial 4 Men Bodywash(in shower)....was time to lose the one I used this morning Shave-Barbasol Original Razor-the Sensor 2 Pivot baby A.S.-Clubman(the Original scent). It's been a while since I last used Clubman but my little "Den" is increasing in its aftershave variety. I suppose that is a healthy problem to have!!!
