It has been replated in nickel by Chris Evatt of Razorplate.com. My photography skills do not do it justice, this baby shines!

I'm sure it feels pretty stiff, they soften after getting a soak. I don't think that there is any break in time at least the one I have. I only hope it has the backbone your looking for.

I found these at my local Walgreen's. It says they are made in Brazil. I thought they were Russian.

Got this one to try my hand on hones, when I get them. Bevel definitely needs set.
