  8. I have the 1st Russian sampler up top...it's friggin awesome, the only one I would say to use caution with is the Sputnik. The rest are dandy Andrew. :)
  9. I ordered a pair of used Naniwa stones in 3k and 5k that have been glued together in a combo stone. Since these stones are more consistent for me to use than my natural stones with slurry, it should help me get the edge I am looking for on my straights. I also ordered three pastes of a proprietary blend from the same shop. He uses them to further refine and polish an edge after final hone. I need to make a paste strop now, but am excited to try these.

Also ordered another 100 Russian DE blades. Which for the amount of DE shaving I do is about a 20 year supply.

I was planning on using one as a travel razor possibly. In any case the reviews above are favorable and it seems they take to a shim very well. Im guessing that they will pair perfectly with a nice sharp blade

  16. I wonder if they're like the Wilkinson Sword and the feather popular the Wilkinson Sword seems best with the Wilkinson Sword blade the feather popular shines with a feather blade. Soooooo maybe you should try the Dorko with a Dorko blade???
  17. Just curious, what store were you at ?
