Day 2 with the Bunny. I'm amazed at how close of a shave I got this morning. I'm finding that I like to hold it just below the rivet on that little flat spot. It almost doesn't feel like it's cutting but it is that's for sure! I'm going to give the notso comb a try tomorrow and see how that works. My face is smooth......
Unofficial shave report number 10: The "spare" Bunny will go back to @twhite tomorrow. My twin NOS Personna II has given it's last shave. I met the Bunny with just over 50 hours of beard so I went for the Wild comb on the first two passes and dropped down to the Mild on pass three. Despite the blade getting tuggy - especially on the first pass, I have just had another outstanding, first rate, top of the order, shave with the Bunny V3. No nicks, cuts, or weepers and the dolphins are jealous of how smooth my skin is. My two cents for those in the receiving line: Angle is key, keep the handle at maybe 80 degrees or so. This is easy to forget when going underhanded on the ATG passes in places like the neck and chin and upper lip. Expect a few weepers until this becomes second nature - until then, stay focused on this. Light pressure is all that is needed, put some attention on that The Schick blade is the best combo that I found Definitely start with the Mild comb unless you've got a day and half or two days of beard Change the combs mid-shave to get a full appreciation for the differences. If you have a lot of whiskers to work with start with the Mild and progressively work up during the first pass - the difference will be noticeable. If you are starting with the Wild or Notso, step down to the Mild on the last pass. Experiment with the grip to find what works best for you - I tend to grip high and found this worked best for tricky areas but liked holding it lower elsewhere. Get ready for some absolute stand-out shaves Special thanks to @twhite for going down this path with us and making these test versions available. Day 3 with the Bunny! Went to a different soap today and decided to stick with the mild comb. I have to agree with Karl the angle is key when using this razor. I also like a little higher grip. I also compared it with a B and C repeating razor to show the different spring profiles. The more pronounced spring on the Bunny creates a steeper blade angle. This affects the shave but I wouldn't say in a good way or not, it's just different.
