That is a nice collection....do you have so many that your forget and accidentally order something you already have? Ive done that myself with a much much smaller collection
I have about 12 soap pucks, but only 7 are in bowls and used with any regularity(albeit seldom). I keep them covered and dry between uses. I mostly only use Arko sticks, now-a-days, these I shave with a potato peeler and then mash into a small Ziploc bowl to form a puck. I love the performance of Arko soap but I'm a bowl latherer at heart . I have also used Arko in puck form, but I dislike the bowl it come's in.
11, counting the dregs of one that are essentially a hand soap now. 3 of my 'pucks' are RazoRock 1-X, which is more 'croap' than 'puck.'
I've done it with a cream in a tube but not with a jar of soap. I do have an inventory list on iPhone that I keep up to date.
Two pucks ATM. Both cheap OTC. Need to order something decent pretty much yesterday. Having spent my allotted fun money on razors and blades for the time being, it may be time to purpose some emergency funding. One tube of spieck creme, that I don't rotate in very often. Although untill I can get another hard soap I like, I might be revisiting it again.
I have one puck of shaving soap. I figure that if a natural or manmade disaster is so great that it distrupts the world's shaving soap supply, I will just grow a beard and head for the hills.
Thank you. Based on just slickness and nothing else. Mitchell's Wool Fat Tabac Tiki (tallow formula) any scent you like Mystic waters Mikes natural Mickey lee soap works Stirling
I started with a cheap OTC Palmolive stick in November I think it was. I still like the Palmolive but now I've added about seven different UK artisan soaps to the collection and about five different samples. And I haven't finished yet - there are lots more I want to try!
Looks great. I noticed you probably need a few more soaps. Here is a link to help you out. www.retroshaveshop.com also known as Route 66. Just tell them Douglas sent you.
