Oh la la, the menthol from this Glacial Spearmint soap, Diana balm, and Arctique aftershave is off the charts. Guys, very seriously - a setup like this can be wicked for anyone who cannot handle such intensely-cold products. For me however, it's perfect and I enjoyed a wonderful BBS shave. It felt great to use my Turkish barbershop brush and Super Speed!
SOTD March 7, 2016 Menthol Monday! Prep: Warm shower Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick G1 Injector (late 1940s) Brush: Omega 10049 boar Lather: Soap Commander Vision M-bombed Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD SubZero after shave, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Less than 24 hours of beard growth just needed a quick one pass with touch-up shave this morning. Tried some M-bomb for the first time with the Soap Commander Vision. I could've added more than I did probably - I didn't feel much of the menthol. I went with a cold water shave again and liked it! It added to the cold theme of Menthol Monday. I think it helps with irritation too. The TSD SubZero after shave is a nice minty complement to the Vision soap, and it's menthol level will cool you off quick! Nice shave, and I hope yours is too! Have a great Monday.

3/7/16 - #85 Prep: warm wash with Kirk's CocoCastile Lather: Dusy Kabinett Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Razor: Blackland Blackbird Blade: Feather(1) Post: Old Spice 10 second brush load with the Dusy Kabinett gave me plenty of lather for 3 passes. The Feather blade, while not overly smooth this morning, was very loud and pretty efficient. Ended up with one little weeper on my chin which was quickly closed with a touch of the styptic. The shave turned out to be near BBS all over.

I signed up for the Neumann newsletter-I do hope they have some sales/special deals on holidays, or other special occasions.
"Smell Like A Man" looks better than their "Smellmitment" that I've been complaining about. Hey, maybe they listened to me!!!
Y'know, Jeff..the first cold blast I got from anything pertaining to shaving was the Gillette Foamy Arctic Chill cream(or whatever the name is..I think they quit selling it). My reaction was the same as that of Capitals' coach Barry Trotz doing the Ice-Bucket challenge....""OOOOOHHH!" All that makes me wonder if I'm ready to try your Arcticque A.S.
Menthol Monday SOTD............. BebeLush Peppermint, Orange & Pine shave soap face lathered w/Omega 6151 Pure badger 40's Rocket w/Astra SP blade (2) Witch hazel rinse, followed by Nivea Cooling ASB finishing w/Floid aftershave 2-passes w/touch-up for an excellent DFS!
oops..sorry, Kerry..I meant to hit "like". Well, I will anyway, after this . How does Pitralon Polar compare to Aqua Velva(or as it is said here in Boston, "Aqua Velver)?
Shave of the day Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush Soap/cream- The body shop Maca Root Brush- Omega midget mixed brush Razor- AlumiGoose Blade- Feather Artist Club Professional (3) Post- Cold water rinse, Humphreys witch hazel, Lucky tiger bay rum aftershave lotion and Talika Photo-hydra day cream Just an okey shave. Didn't get that "NICE" feeling, it was more "meh.." Oh well, win some loose some. I wanna break in the midget brush so I'm gonna try and use it more often =) but didn't get the best lather ever. I need to stick to the same soap a while while I get to know the AlumiGoose. Keep the software factors to a minimum. We'll see what I do. Nja.. This shave wasn't very comfy.
