    Two-pass shave - XTG, ATG

Made a full recovery from yesterday's inattentive crack-up. I was even able to shave right over the scar I created from yesterday's shave.

Today was oh so smooth. I mean, I really miss Bunny, but if I have to live without her, the E2 fills the void. It really is so smooth and close, but requires attention and punishes reckless abandon.

    Cheers!

  3. I see you slipped the Bunny in on the bottom row like it's no biggie. "Nothing to see here, just a hand-made, limited production masterpiece I happen to have."
  4. Hey man...with a Harem like this...You've got a Lifetime VIP Pass.....no more waiting in line at the door.....:eatdrink047: You can even book the Injector and SE Party private jet for weekend getaways.....
  5. Two type O's.......really. Thats probably a type C3 too.:(

Hey did I mention having one of the five prototype Zamboolie wood brushes ever made by New Forest and that it might be available if the right trade came along??

  7. Certainly an impressive collection! :happy088:

    No adjustables?

  8. It's a man-eater IMHO.
  9. I probably shouldn't tell you I have a NIB, unopened Schick O coming from Japan - for less than what I paid for any of the other two :)

  10. Had a nice shave with an E2 I've had for a while. It's quite honestly the first time I've used a modern Injector.

My previous experiences were with the Schick repeating razors, and various shavettes that used Injector blades, but it never occurred to me that I hadn't actually used an Injector.

I tried to use the Schick Techmatic for today's shave, since it still had unused band left on the cartridge, but it's a bitey little beast, and after putting up with the discomfort for half a shave, I decided to grab another Schick to finish things up.

It wasn't until I had to stop and try to figure out how to load the key, that it occurred to me that I hadn't actually used a modern Injector before.

Thanks @fishcrow for forgetting that razor at Shavecon. It really is a nice little shaver. :)

  11. Don't know why not really...maybe as simple as because adjustable DEs have never made it to be one of my favorite razors.

  12. Actually good guess - it IS a C3 :)

  14. I doubt it. Razors have to look good as well as shave good...and there's not a lot of good looking injectors.

Off the top of my head,
    Your Bunny razor,
The International Silver model, dubbed the 'Paul Revere.'
    The Golden 500.
The A, B, and C type repeating razors...but I don't like the way they shave.
    The PAL razors

The rest look like bits of plastic and sheet metal that fell in a blender. (Might be a slight exaggeration).

  15. Fair enough. At least you tried them

  16. Hmm. It was actually a G type I used today, not an E type. Sorry. I'm rather unfamiliar with injectors in general.

  17. An injector-shave this morning.
I'm not sure if it was because of the Schick Twin blades I loaded in it or what it was...but I could barely get a shave out of this razor.
I ended up switching to a Truefitt & Hill handle w/ a Mach3 cartridge to get the job done quickly as I was running out of time.

  18. To be honest I find the Schick adjustable razors kind of bland. However, the PAL Adjustable is arguably one of the coolest razors around, and is responsible for rekindling my interest in injectors in general.

It has this retro-futuristic look going on, it is mostly made of stainless steel (one of the first SS razors), it can be seriously aggressive when cranked up, it definitely has a learning curve, and it shaves unlike any other injector.

Writing about it has me contemplating breaking one out for tomorrow's shave. :happy088:

  19. I do like the look of the Personna (I did a write-up about it over here for some time ago) - but did find it to be awfully mild.
The idea of an adjustable one like the Pal is rather intriguing :)
