The Old Spice Lime Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #47 synthetic brush. Two passes with my GEM 1912 razor and a GEM SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    3/08/16 - The 1950's Shave

Great movies, music, dress, men and women.... The 1950's was, in my opinion, the last of an era.

I took a few minutes and touched this blade to the stones. Dubious hones and questionable skill still gave a decent shave. I weeper on my chin that was quiet by alum time. Big handed splash of Ed's finest and done! Good day Ya'll

Thank you, sir. Amazing what an android phone and @Darkbulb 's method of quick photoshopping can achieve.

Most entertaining indeed, Cap! I guess the "new" Tabac is a reformulation from the "old", right? Nice talk about the way things were in the 40's and 50's.

The handle on mine is perfect for me, for face lathering because it's squarish. :love055: It's great to see our members showing love to our in house talented crafts people. :)

Indeed, I always like supporting the 'little' guy. Grew up in a family business, and the real artists don't have a lot of output. I'm very happy to have one.

20160308_182819.jpg Thought is give my Segal a go with a Segal blade. Backed up with some vintage Williams, finishing with Barbasol Pacific Rush, I hope I won't have to resort to the Flare Tip.

    Blade- Gillette Sharp Edge
    Brush- RazoRock Plissoft
Soap- Through the Fire Fine Craft Wisp

    ASB-Nivea Sensitive
Another nice shave tonight. Thanks to @LuvWetShavin I tried out my new RazoRock Plissoft brush and Through the Fire Fine Craft Wisp soap. Absolutely love them! I also tried the Gillette Sharp Edge blade for the first time tonight. I'll use it again tomorrow to make up my mind on it, ended a three pass shave with a DFS but I'm having some itching/burning now. I guess it could be the soap so I'll try another one tomorrow to see. Have a great evening folks!
