  3. Wow...nice gear my friend. How is that oneblade treating you?

  4. Thanks Robert. Tomorrow will be the first time using the brush and expect great results. The Zenith boar and extra stuffed silvertips were wonderful surprises for such a low cost compared to others I have tried.

  5. I pray that you start feeling better. Nice setup

  7. I thought it would take some time to find the right angle like other who have tried it but I was in the groove on the first day. This is one smooth and efficient razor. Two passes no touch ups for me so far. Blade started to tug a little bit yesterday so stropped it before this morning shave and like knife through butter once again. Like the Feather AS-D series razors seems like you deliberately have to try and cut yourself but does shave closer and smoother or at least it does for me.
  8. Feel better brother. :)

  10. March into Artist Club Blades

    March 12

    Razor - Feather SS
    Blade - [IMG] (5)
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
    Soap - Tabac
Post - Cold Rinse, Alum, Nivea Original Balm, The Veg

After yesterday's slice and dice festival I approached day five with a bit of caution. Not afraid of anything but just made sure I had a couple extra minutes to avoid reopening the slice or making any other "SSE's" (stupid shaving errors). Lathered extra thick with the Tabac and BoS and went lightly on the WTG on the right side especially. No issues with the slice and I finished the pass with decent results. Went XTG on the second pass but avoided going over the slice as that would have put the edge into the cut a bit. Added an ATG pass on the neck and called it good. Finished near DFS which was fine for the day. Alum produced a pretty good burn on the neck from the ATG but the rest was pretty quiet. Not bad considering I was trying for a damage control shave with a result good enough for work. Nivea to cool off, Veg to just be that sexy. Good day.
  11. Another amazing metallic brush handle. Tell me about it?
Do you know the manufacture? Knot size? Aluminum?
  12. Early flight tomorrow.

  13. It is aluminum. It is part of a mirror/brush stand/mug-I'll get you a picture of the whole thing. The mug is sterling silver -I found
it at a garage sale. Knot size is 24. Manufacture? I'll check when I snap a pic of it.
  14. SOTD 3/12/16
Prep: Hot Shower/ Nivea Men's Face Wash
    Pre-Shave: Proraso White
Soap: Barrister & Mann Latha Sandalwood
    Brush: Brushcraft 24mm Silvertip Custom
Razor/ Blade: Gillette Flair Tip Super Speed/ Personna Platinum Red (3)
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Eco Pure Man Balm
    Aftershave: Captain's Choice Sandalwood
So I made it back to my dorm room in Boston! The Cadillac drove fantastically and is truly an amazing car. My grandfather bought it right before he passed away and I am honored to keep it in the family. Anyway, the shave today was pretty good, not great. This was the first time using the Brushcraft 24mm Custom and it is a very soft silvertip knot. Some of my other silvertips have much more backbone. It took a little while to load up enough soap, but it still worked. Shave was decently smooth, but a little irritation--these Red Personnas are not nearly as smooth as the Lab Blues (to my skin). Overall it was a decent shave, but I am feeling a little red and sore. I may take tomorrow off. Have a great rest of the weekend!

  18. Yeah - I was totally amazed after yesterday's shave. There's only one drawback: it was so good and close that the tiny bit of stubble this morning does not justify a shave today ;)

A very pleasant but late shave for me this Sunday Morning, this E-Shave cream is great very thick and creamy and provides a good cushion.
The Gem Clog Pruf goes without saying just a great razor to shave with! I think the Old spice goes very nicely with the Orange Sandalwood PSB for another great shave!!:happy088:
