Very nice shave last night. I love the scent of LMR. Catie's Bubbles soaps work well in my experience. Love this WD 24mm brush. It is soft and great for soft soaps or creams. Followed by my favorite balm. Also, please keep Darren and Carrie from soap commander in your thoughts/ prayers. Some may think them and I are competitors, but I do not feel that way. They are dealing with some very serious situations right now and as a result have shut down operations temporarily. I will be using an all Soap Commander shave today in their honor. I can't pronounce it, but I like it!! Today's aftershave is what people of old called South Saint Louis, Vide Poche, or Empty Pockets. The underdogs.

A sweet Amber beginning that settles into a Bergamont and drys to a floral, powdery scent. So much going on. I usually don't like sweet aftershaves, but this would be a great match for my Lilac Shaving Soap!! Another outstanding product by Chatillon Lux!!!

Prep: Occams crushed lime pre shave soap
Razor: Gillette ball end tech
Blade: Gillette Goal (2nd shave)
Brush: omega s synthetic
Soap: Stirling- Aqua DGO
Post: Stephan Island Lime


2 pass shave today. Stirling did a great job with matching the scent of Aqua Di Gio. Fresh citrus cologne/ aquatic scent. The Goal Blade seemed to work better in the tech, got a much closer shave than yesterday. Ended up with very little irritation. Finished the shave with Stephan Island Lime, I added enough menthol crystals to the aftershave to make it a frosty finish. Hope everyone had a great shave!

Thank you. I love the scent of Musgo Real and since they reformulated their soap, it has worked wonderfully. I just picked up the Clubman at the store the other day. My dad always used to use it, but this is my first bottle of the original. So far so good.
