    Thursday's
    ZCOLDWATER.jpg

    TESC Pre-Shave Oil
    Arko Stick
    Jayaruh #54 synthetic
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Florida Water

Arko Stick Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #54 synthetic brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Florida Water After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  4. Very nice layout, i see you have Personna blades, i have a lot of Ted Pellas. Which do you prefer. I`m thinking the Pellas aren`t so sharp, i haven`t tried the Personnas yet ( i have so many Pellas, bought 100 to save shipping), still have 70 odd left. BTW, nice picture too.

  7. Thursday's freeze will really not be so much of a freeze - just mild menthol!

    Here's my setup:

    Nivea Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26 mm Synthetic :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
    Junjie/Astra day 4
    Tcheon Fung Sing Sottozero SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Italian Barber Amici AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

There you have it - a wonderful selection of goodies for my shave. Honestly, I'm loving my Plissoft brush so damn much that it's hard for me to use anything else, but soon I'll take my big Turkish horsehair out again. One more day with the Junjie and for Friday I'll transplant the Astra back to my Super Speed. That Sottozero soap is wonderful - an awesome scent with such great lather and a good post-shave feeling. Although Sottozero means below zero in Italian, the menthol effect of this soap may be a bit under that of the Proraso Green. The Amici aftershave is fairly cooling and does it ever smell fantastic with good longevity! ;) :D

  10. Wednesday:
hot shower w/Mistral Marzipan bar soap
    Action PSO
Gillette Black Tip S/S 2+ passes
    Gillette Silver Blue (1)
    Ever Ready boar
DeVergulde Hand Extra Fris soap in a warm mug
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Paul Sebastian A/S balm

An adequate shave this morning at o'dark o'clock. I had to be on the road pretty early so I didn't have any extra time to post this until now.
Also I haven't had time to really read any SOTD's this week so I trust you're all having good shaves.

  11. Actually I believe that the Ted Pellas and the Personnas are the same. Mine, in that magazine, are Personna Mini Hair Shapers that I loaded into an empty magazine and re-labeled as Personnas.
  12. Thank you. I really like the Maggard knot, too.

Like how the OC razors allow some lather to remain for rebuffing. The Gillette Blue blades have become my longest lasting DE blades so far.
