Arko Stick Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #54 synthetic brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Florida Water After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Tell me(us)about the Orange Creamsicle...I have to Chiseled Faces now(aftershaves), but OC isn't one of them.

I guess that happens from time to time in live concerts. Now that I think of it, "Sir" Paul McCartney did just that with "I've Just Seen A Face" when he and the Wings did their 1976 tour across America.

 

Mark. I took a chance a while back with the synthetic. I am happy that it's the second generation with a higher loft.

I Had a Lovely 2 Pass Shave with My Gold Dollar 208 6/8 today..Made in China or not this is Darn Fine Carbon Steel..Its a lot Harder Steel than my Vintage Swedish Straight's & feels Different but very Sharp Indeed..This Dollar Sings Like a Canary & offers plenty of Feed back..I reckon this would make an Ideal Learning Razor for Folks because the Heel & Toe are very Rounded & Forgiving..

I enjoyed my shave today & ended up with a Mixed BBS/DFS Result with No Touch Up..I think a Lot of folks forget that the Asians were making Swords than could Cut Through Western Body Armour & their Metal Work was way Ahead of its time..

This set up is so John Drake.

 

The scent is spot on orange and vanilla. Great skin care good menthol. My wife says it smells too sweet but I like it. Really does make the orange creamsicle name. The soap is great also!
