The Silvertip whipped up some nice warm lather. The Futur made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG and done. The Cucumber WH felt good, nice and cool. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Old Spice original Shulton 1956 AS. Y'all have a good one!

Merkur Futur/Merkur Blade (1) Caties Bubbles Mile High Menthol Shaving Soap JR #23 Silvertip Badger Brush Maggard Alum Block Fine Snakebite Aftershave Pretty good shave today if I do say so myself except for a little scare where I dropped the Futur but I caught it before it hit the ground so all is well. Dropping something this big and heavy could knock the earth of its rotation and send us all crashing into the sun.. Cranked the Futur to 6 for an easy 2 pass (WTG,ATG) BBS shave. The MHM was easy to lather and in 15 seconds of loading I had more then enough for a 4-6 pass shave. Alum was silent except for one tiny spot under the jaw. Cold water rinse and slapped on some Fine Snakebite and was reminded of why I love this splash so much! Great face feel and a frigid menthol punch to the face, what more could I ask for? 21mar16 I'm really liking the Futur. I'm headed to Hawaii next week for work and am going to take it. I won't be able to change up so I want to take a razor that does good and I can adjust for when I skip a day or two. Being that it does shave differently than other adjustables, I'm using it this week so I have no issues when I get there.
