After been enabled by @PLANofMAN I spent $3 on this NIB/NOS "Men's Magic Razor".
It's a design that you actually still see today - and for about the same price...
Will be interesting to check out this vintage model though.

    From the seller's description:
    "
LOOKS LIKE A LIPSTICK TUBE, APPROX 3" HIGH MADE OF HARD PLASTIC IN BLACK/GRAY MARBLE DESIGN. THE LARGE BOX PICTURED HOLDS 12 IND. BOXED RAZORS. YOU'RE GETTING ONE OF THE 12. MASTER BOX READS..."THE KNIFE HEAD WITH TWIN TRACK BLADES IS MADE BY GILLETTE(SHANGHAI) LIMITED" AT ONE END OF THE TUBE IS BLACK GROOVED THAT YOU TWIST TO RISE AND LOWER THE RAZOR(WHICH AT TIMES IS NOT VERY COOPERATIVE) AT THE OTHER END(WHERE THE BLADES COMES OUT) IS A BLACK COVER, WHEN REMOVED HAS A SMALL BLACK BRUSH ATTACHED. MINT NEVER USED."

Thanks man. I'm pretty chuffed about it! It's the newer model of Sheraton, without the riveted ends, and is rarer than the one with rivets. Probably made in 1939 or 1940. The reason most Sheratons look like crap is because they have a gold wash directly over brass, rather than the later gold wash over nickel plating, which was more durable.

These are such cool razors. I haven't used mine in a while, but your thread may inspire me.
Enjoy. We look forward to your thoughts.

Yeah. I really should do a thread about the Sheraton/Senator model of razor, like I did for the Gillette President.

In 1937, the Sheraton was introduced as a lower priced model of the popular Aristocrat, in 1938 the Senator was introduced, which was nickel plated and had the non-rivited ends. (Sorry, I shouldn't have used the phrase "end caps," as they hadn't been introduced yet).

Sometime between 1939 and 1941 1938 and 1939 (edit: misinformation on Badger & Blade, the Sheraton and Senator were discontinued in 1939), the Sheraton was updated to the same design as the Senator. Both were replaced by the Gillette Regent, a rare razor that doesn't get talked about ever. The Regent was replaced by the almost as rare Ranger Tech, which was the precursor to the modern Super Speed.

The photo below shows the more common version of the Sheraton on the bottom.

My first impression is very positive actually. I received it quickly because I live in Turkey as well. It was domestic courier shipping. I received it the first working day. :)
