I use C&E Sienna, on occasion, its a few years old and lathers well. My best advice get some Arko it's cheap and lathers very well, at least for me. However it's not as scent filled as C&E.
I had the same problem with a puck of C&E Morracan Myrrh. Gave up after a dozen tries and used it up in the shower.
