3/25/16 - Spring Break so took yesterday off Route 66 Lumberjack RazoRock Plissoft Blackland Blackbird Arnold's Platinum Chrome (1) Avon Windjammer I received this package of 10 blades last year from a friend. The package had a price of 67 cents. I tend to think these are vintage store branded Persona blades. Regardless, it provided a smooth and comfortable shave with 2 days of stubble. The Route 66 soap gave a fantastic lather with the Plissoft brush. Of course the Blackbird...amazing again.
That might be me too when I try the Ice-Bucket Challenge, except the mouth will be wide-open with a resounding "OOOOOHHHHHH!""
March 25,2016 Razor(s): Maggard Head, generic handle. Gillette Tech/custom handle. Brush: VDH Badger. Blades: Personna Blue/ GSB Cream: Proraso White tube Pre Shave oil: Homade Orange AS: Gillette/Sensitive. Bowl: Pickup from Antique Shop Comparing 2 razors(1 on each side) inconclusive outcome. Got a little irritation on upper lip with GSB, otherwise most everything went pretty good, not smooth. 3 passes. 1st, WTG, 1 razor on 1 side other razor on opposite side. Same thing on 2nd pass ATG. Only 1 weeper on upper lip(beginning to admire mustaches). Only kidding, facial hair of any kind irritates my skin, and makes me feel like i need to wash. The 3rd pass was wetter lather for clean up. DFS for sure, maybe a +. As long as I`m good with it, C` est la vie, i always say. happy shaving to all. Bill

Ha! I had to check, too. The oil is from the fat of the animal and is harvested when the bird is processed for food, so as far as I know it is cruelty free.
Thanks! This is my first time with Soap Commander products. I wasn't going to buy any new soap this year but I want to show support for Luke and the Seiberts.
Emu oil is being used on burn patients now because it prevents strictures and is naturally antiseptic. It is amazing to see how well it aids the healing process with less scarring.
Im more of an alcohol based aftershave kind of guy but once in a while will use a balm or in this case the AS milk. The scent of the LaBelle du Sud is intoxicating.
SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: Occams crushed lime Razor: Gillette superspeed Blade: Asco super stainless Brush: RazoRock plissoft Soap: AOS Tallow Sandalwood Post: Myrsol Blue 2 pass shave today. The AOS soap makes a very nice lather, and the scent is neutral for a sandalwood. Not too earthy, and not like cologne. These Asco blades have been working out well. Love how much lather the Plissoft can hold. Finished the shave with Myrsol Blue. Hope everyone has a great shave!
