    Schick Saturday

    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Badger
Lather: Country Club for Men Cahaba Blues
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with knock-off Old Spice, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG, touch-up

Really close shave with two passes and touch-up while yielding the Schick G1 injector. I really like this little razor. It can lead to a few more nicks or weepers for me, probably due to operator error. I had two little weepers - one on my chin and the other on my neck. However, that's not a big deal in the long run. Hope you all have a great Saturday and a beautiful Easter tomorrow.

If the guy who owns the Buick dealer is named Todd, that would be perfect!

I shaved today with the VC 4. I started with a feather blade that had one shave on it. It was pretty rough and when I got to my chin it was just dragging and pulling badly. I pulled the blade out and loaded a fresh Valet blade and lathered up again. Wow like night and day it was. The razor was now smooth and comfortable and a my confidence was back. One more pass for a near BBS shave. For the next shave I'll use the strop and give it 10 laps like the instructions say and see how that goes. I'm finished with the feather stainless blades for good.

Mystical (LazyLens 20160326 024604 HD).jpg I just received my first GEM single edge push button the other day. I still needed blades, so I grabbed a couple packs at the local CVS. They were $4.79 , buy one get one for half price. She's all locked and loaded. I'm now undecided which razor for tomorrow's shave. I just might have to go for it:)

I used to not like those blades for some reason. I now love them. Remember that they are carbon steel and will rust if you don't dry them off. I even belly strop my CVS SE blades.

    Chinese Schick (1)
    L'Occitane Plisson synthetic brush
Chiseled Face Groomatorium Ghost Town Barber soap and aftershave

The Bunny goes on a weekend getaway with me. Shaving with the Bunny is much easier than posting in the forums with a tablet.

The Chick blades work well in the Bunny (gee, just like everyone said that they would) and I enjoyed a very good BBS shave.

Woke up to a few inches of snow today so decided to freeze my face off with this glacial wintergreen. It lathered beautifully and was super cold.
Despite the awesome lather, I had quite a terrible shave. Think I need more practice with the Clog Pruf. May also need to try shimming an SE blade.
Today's shave ended in multiple weepers and a bunch of irritation. First bad shave in a while, good day everyone and I hope your shaves were/are better than mine was

I did not post my Thursday shave with my ER 1914. I shaved again today with the same setup.
    Razor: ER 1924
    Blade: Blue Star Carbon
    Soap: Haslinger Sandalwood.
    Brush: WD 24mm synthetic
    AS: KCMankind balm

Thursday I used the Billy shim with the setup had a DFS ON 3 passes

Today I forgot to load the shim. I had one of my best shaves ever on 4 passes. I am sitting here half an hour after shaving. I cannot find a hair anywhere in any direction. I have Zero irritation.

Question. Shaving without the shim, is it a milder shave? I

I was the reshipping point for @Billyfergie 's prize E1. He was kind enough to PIF me this Treet that came as part of the lot the E1 was hidden in. :eatdrink047:

I almost asked the seller to keep it to reduce shipping costs as I've always thought these handles are ugly. What a mistake that would have been. I just finished shaving with it tonight and was really impressed. It is one of the smoothest razors I have and the handle is the most comfortable of any of my razors. It really makes it easy to be very precise in placing and moving the blade. :happy036:

I found I could move quickly with the Treet with no problems and made short work of my two day old whiskers. The reduction after the first two passes was solid but not exceptional. The Treet is somewhat mild but the end result was nothing but face rubbing goodness. This one is a keeper for sure. :happy088:

Great looking razor. :happy088: Try it with a twin blade some time. You will not be disappointed.
