SOTD Tue. 3/29/16 Pre Shave Cleanser: Noxzema Classic Pre Shave Oil: RR Essential Oil of Lime Shave Soap: Italian Barber Amici Shave Brush: RR Disruptor Razor: Schick N1 Injector Blade: ? After Shave Balm: Stirling Mita Soap: Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap Cologne: Lapidus by Ted Lapidus Good morning my friends. This morning was my very first shave with a Schick N1 injector and an injector type razor period. This shave was sponsored via a generous contest PIF from our member @swarden43 aka Steve. I did my usual three passes wtg, xtg, atg angles adjusted for my direction of growth. Results? Dolphin smooth with absolutely no irritation!I love this razor, it was easy to find the angle by just presenting the razor head to my face and lowering till it began to slice then just keeping it there. The long handle was very much appreciated by me and I was also pleasantly surprised by the razors build as it has substance to it and it's not just a piece of plastic. It was extremely easy to navigate and wonderful for hard to reach areas like the tricky jawline. It's perfect for atg under the nose and excels at it. I even got nice feedback going xtg and atg. Oh! Thank you! I "made" this brush. I bought an oscar11 handle and a TGN finest badger 24mm. I guess the oscar11 handles are not available anymore. I bought at WSP website.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-COLD and beautiful is the best way to describe this morning's shave. Like my dear friend Ray I had originally planned to use another soap and aftershave, but then the Glacial Spearmint started crying and so did the Glacial Wintergreen balm and witch hazel so to make them happy I selected them instead and I'm so happy I did. That damned soap froze me as soon as I started lathering up and the Wintergreen balm and witch hazel rewarded me with ten tons of extra mentholated goodness and perfect post-shave care after getting BBS.
