My face felt like I put liquid nitrogen on it while I was lathering up and shaving with the Glacial Obsidian soap and the matching balm felt just as cold after I finished. Did I feel the Rubby Dubby Doo? You better believe it - what a super shave!
Winesday Excellent shave with B&M today. Fireside produced very slick and thick lather over the Van Yulay PSO, courtesy of my HIS Lather Monster brush. The Futur destroyed my stubble in three passes, leaving very smooth and comfortable skin. I finished with B&M Awesome aftershave - it has a very Spring like scent that reminds me of their Rhapsody soap.
Today's SOTD; 1946/47 Gillette Aristocrat. Dorco ST300 blade. Ever Ready 500PBT brush. Cella shaving soap. Vintage Jade East as splash. Vintage Jade East cologne.
Day three with the Standard razor. Each day has resulted in a better shave than the day before. Probably DFS today. It's a work in progress.

Wednesday;s(3-30)shave: Prep-Dial 4 Men(in hot shower)\ Cream/Gel/Foam-Edge Gel Razor-Gillette Sensor 2 Pivot + DispoaseABLE(whiskers don't stand a chance on this baby) A.S.-Clubman Regular It's a chilly morning, so I thought I'd go with the warm Clubman, but it will gradually warm up. With Edge, I now have my favorite Gel, and favorite cream(Rise).
If I didn't see that that was a balloon, I might have thought it was either an egg, or a clump of shaving cream.
Schick J1 razor Schick Plus Plat blade Plisson/L'Occitane brush Williams SS w/added M-Bomb (2 drops) Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe M&L Florida Water Cologne w/added menthol The 2 drops of the M-Bomb really cooled down the Williams nicely. I get my best ever lathers from Williams using the Plisson/L'Occitane brush and a great shave was had. Now go enjoy your day folks.
Two firsts today, first time using the Derby (Generously PIFFED by @Redrock ) and First time using La Toja (Grated and pressed into my bowl). The La Toja whipped up into an amazing lather with my Plissoft, very very slick and cushiony. The scent of La Toja is kinda hard to describe, its kinda earthy or minerally, but very light and quite pleasant. The Derby was a little tuggy on the first couple of strokes on each side but it smoothed out nicely after that and left me with a very nice DFS and no irritation. A cold water rinse and some Nivea sensitive PSB and my face feels pretty darn good. Have a great day everyone!
Great photo Andrew it looks professional! I'm so happy you enjoyed La Toja it's amazing stuff but looks so unassuming I think it gets overlooked sometimes.
