1. After years of hot-water wet shaving, I converted over to cold-water during the summertime several years ago and haven't looked back!
I enjoy the briskness and refreshing feel of cold water on the face, and more importantly, the feel of 'cold steel'—a straight razor dunked in a cold basin prior to a shave pass.
Using warm lather from a scuttle doesn't diminish the appeal as the eye-opening chill of a cold final rinse leaves my skin feeling great post-shave prior to any application of aftershave or balm.

  3. It should turn red automatically when you creat the link and you can further enhance it by making it bold. :)

  4. I have been cold water shav ing ever since I started using a straight razor...having ice cubes in the bathroom sink really help with sweeper and small cuts, not to mention a lot less irritation for my face.

  5. Pardon my lack of knowledge , how do I create the link?

  6. I had a great cold water shave this morning. Like someone else mentioned, I guess I am a "seasonal" cold water shaver...spring/summer/fall. Winter time I tend to go lukewarm.
