Thursday's SOTD was a repeat of yesterday...................... Cella Extra Extra Purissima face lathered/Ever Ready Silvertip Merkur 1904 w/Astra SP blade Witch hazel rinse, followed by Nivea Cooling ASB and finishing w/Barbasol Blue 2-passes for a DFS!!
3/31/16 Gillette New LC Arnold's Platinum Chrome (4) Route 66 Lumberjack RazoRock Plissoft Avon Island Lime This unknown blade just continues to surprise me. Super smooth and effective and shows no sign of giving up the sharpness. Of course, it could be the razor...or the prep...or the alignment of the stars.
SOTD for Thursday Razor... Standard Raw Blade... Feather Brush...Strongset (WD black badger knot) Soap... Proraso Green Since I was informed the Standard is a mild razor today I added a Feather blade. Is never ceases to amaze me how different razor/blade combinations can have such drastically different results. The razor and the blade mowed down my stubble! I nearly had a BBS after WTG and ATG passes. Just a little 3rd pass for touch up purposes only. Really close, nice shave. I guess I learning.

It went very nice! I am thinking 6 may be my set it and forget it with the Futur as it works so well. BBS in 2 passes (XTG/ATG) and very little touchup needed.
