  2. Sunday:
hot shower w/Yardley Shea Buttermilk bar soap
    Somersets Extra Sensitive PSO
    Schick Krona 2+ passes
    Gillette Goal SP (1)
Arko Moist cream in a warm bowl
    BurmaShave boar
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Arko Aqua A/S gel

Very smooth shave this morning. I should have done a third pass but stayed in bed a little too long and then lingered over my morning coffee even longer so I ended up being pressed for time. First time with both the Arko Moist cream and the Gillette Goal and very satisfied with both.

  3. Hi Roby................. The old saying: You can`t do anything again, you can do something similar, i think applies here (you can come close). And hope he does.

    Haslinger Coconut

    Milord Tech
    Personna Med Prep (2)
    English Leather AS

    Shave #4
    Expected more-got less.
The Haslinger simply does not provide adequate cushion or slickness. Period.
I create what appears to be a beautiful, rich, thick lather; and the blade drags. Irritation on my left "jowl" continues with every shave.
I will finish my business trip with this soap, but after that...that's the last you'll see my posts with this sub-par soap.
There are simply too many superior soaps in my den to ever return to this.
The Milord Tech may look gorgeous (and it is), but the knurling is too slick for my hands.
(Hah! My razor's slick, but my soap's not...irony at its finest)
I dropped the razor into my, thank goodness, water filled basin and almost dropped it a second time. :angry019:
Tomorrow, I'll use some of my alum bar on my fingers before each pass.
The English Leather is a trip down memory lane and quite frankly has proved to be the highlight of my shaving gear.
    Have a great day!
