Yeah I translated and read those too. I found it on a forum where a nice Russian man posted it. I'm trying to get him to translate the speech.
I'm a bit apprehensive about the feather super pro. I see how much blade sticks out of the razor and I felt how much thicker the blade was and its intimidating. I'm dragging right now. Work was rough and I over caffinated to get through it. My local Starbucks has a drink called "Liquid Cocaine" its a quad shot of espresso over sweetened condensed milk and ice topped with half and half. I had 2 in about an hour. I was only 40 min late getting out which is not bad considering that I cooked breakfast twice and lunch 3 times(its a hotbar that usually is good with one fill). 3 cooks tomorrow instead of just me so it should be a cake day. I'm shaving in the morning. If the worst happens and I bleed out then at least work will have enough people.
Thursday Shower/Shave Shower- Noxzema facial cleaner, Dr. Bronner's All-One Hemp Peppermint bar soap Pso- Homemade grapefruit PSO Brush- RazoRock Plissoft Razor- Muhle R41 head on a Maggard MR5 handle Blade- Gillette Silver Blue (2) Soap- Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Gondolier Thayers Witch Hazel TSD After Shave Milk Neroli with M-Bomb Another excellent shave tonight. My first use of TSD products and I'm very impressed. I tried the AS milk and the M-Bomb. I love the milk, it feels great on my skin and 3 hours later I can still smell the Neroli which smells amazing. It was also my first use of menthol, I'm definitely a fan. Second shave with the R41 and again I'm BBS, it just mows down my whiskers. Everything else worked great, I'm very happy with this lineup. My focus is going good. Face stretching is getting much better but I'm holding off on using the left hand until I get used to this razor. It hasn't bitten me yet and it looks hungry. Have a great day folks! I wouldn't be surprised if that becomes your main setup. Razors and blades form a system. Aggressive geometry plus very sharp slick St Petersburg goodness equals coarse beard annihilation. Quit buying stuff now... Practice that setup for 45 days, then get cracking on straights. Save your pennies, SRAD is a whole other game.
The Super Pro does definitely have a different and fearsome look. And, it's a fearsome shave. The times I've used it I managed to avoid bloodshed but I felt like I was right on the edge of disaster the whole time. If you like adrenaline it's a good blade. With time I could get it under control but it's the one blade you definitely don't want to make a stupid mistake with.
I managed to use my 208 today and didn't need to call 911! Only downfall is it took me 45 minutes to shave. Seems like fear is a good technique motivator to not screw up. Now I can still stick to my straight focus even if it is with my non dominant hand!
Congrats and go slow.... If you get tired, pick up a DE. If you're not feeling it, pick up a DE. If you are rushed, pick up a DE. Best advice, I ever got. H/T @Keithmax Glad you're able to continue!
Stop buying stuff...did my wife tell you to say that You are, as usual, correct. I just need more GSB's, and a strop, and I'm set. I know I'm only 2 shaves into this razor but it just works. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Stop buying now, keep the high ground, fight battle later... My strop is from @Drygulch Leatherworks, a brand worth looking at!
I've already talked to him and I'll be purchasing from him very soon. He's also been extremely helpful answering my questions regarding joining the Darkside Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
