Thank you Kerry. Just this pollen getting to me so I couldn't rest last night. The day will get better. Finishing up the last of the tax returns and will file extensions for everyone else. Not working this weekend.
I believe so, I really enjoyed the post shave feeling. I'm going to have to try it in my soap next Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I am going to try to ride the motorcycle on Sunday since the weather is going to be nice. I will just go for the ride alone and enjoy the piece and quite. The North GA mountains are really very pretty this time of year.
No thanks needed. Just glad you enjoy it. You being a soap guy like me. I couldnt let them go out of business without you trying them.
I shaved with the dreaded Feather Super Pro this morning. CJB Feather Super Pro (1) Route 66 Sweeny Todd WD synthetic Pinaud Citrus Musk The Route 66 is still going strong. I'm not sure how it does it so quickly and so well with so little soap in the cup. I have maybe 1/4 inch ring thats not even solid all the way around. I'm about to scrape it out like I did the Black Pearl when it got to this point and try the Ghost town. I'll mix the little bits I have left and have a franken soap made from Route 66. The first pass was N/S and . . . All my facial features are still attached. It was easier for me to get a good angle on the blade with more blade sticking out of the holder. I wiped away the whiskers and relathered for a 2nd pass S/N. That pass was also an effortless lather wiping that removed the whiskers. It did try to dig once by my right ear but I stopped and restarted the stroke before it did more than pull a few hairs. I finished with a 2 pass DFS, splashed on the very quiet Citrus Musk and headed out to work. I like this blade pretty good. I might have an additional challenge for MAYhem. A puck that has been described as harder to lather then Williams. I'm going to pair it with a new VdH boar brush and the worst blades I can find in a cheap $1.50 Chinese shavette based on the Parker shavette. I have alum and a jumbo styptic stick, 911 is on speed dial and I shave when traffic is dead so they should be able to get me fixed up pretty quickly. I will have a backup shave kit lined up if it is so bad I can't make it work. Good soap, brush and razor with a decent blade. I'll figure out what my rescue setup will be. I'll also be using a boxcutter blade in my SE Gem razor at least once that month.

April 15, 2016 A month with my Schick Type F Hot Shower Razor: Schick F Blade: NOS Schick Ultra Platinum, Holland (2) Soap: Proraso Sensitive Brush: Rubberset 400-4 TSD Witch Hazel AS: Myrsol Blue Same exact setup as yesterday because - yesterday’s shave was superb! I can honestly say that now because I awoke this morning with a 24-hour growth that looked and felt like a 12-hour growth after a fine shave - very minimal growth on trouble spots (jawline, chin, mouth corners) and almost nothing on the cheeks. Amazing! Just enough to warrant a workday shave, but only a 1-pass ATG with a baby chase. Today’s shave looks and feels as good as the one yesterday so we’ll see. I am extremely encouraged not just because of the results of this blade/razor combo, but that it now allows me to approach my chin and mouth corners using ATG with minimal irritation and just a weeper or two. The confidence to approach that area in this way will provide opportunity to develop better technique there. Cheers! RT
