She sure looks perty! Congrats! I just did the same with my fatboy and slim and they turned out even better than I thought they would.
This is what I used to polish it.Just put a dab on a cotton rag and buff it shiny! Then used a tooth brush and warm water to remove any polish residue. Sent from my Galaxy S6 using Tapatalk
Good job. I don't understand how razors get so grungy. I know it is neglect, but that is ridiculous. I think clean razors just work better, like a clean car gets better mileage.
For the tight spaces, your polish and a Q-tip work well. Follow it with a Dawn dish liquid and tooth brush scrub to remove all the polish. Prepare to be blinded!
Hello folks, I just want to share three fantastic products that I have settled on after all these years of polishing razors. On the right is Blitz Silver Shine polish. I use it for all my silver plated razors. It is highly recommended. On the top left is Simichrome metal polish. It is what I gently use on gold plated razors. Normally it is recommended that no polish be used on gold plated razors, just dish detergent and hot water, but I use Simichrome metal polish on my gold razors. Last but not least is Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish. I use this polish on my nickel razors. It works very well. I just thought these products might interest everyone reading this thread. Awesome results. Thanks for the pics. Flitz, Goddards(for silver), and a toothbrush do the trick for me.
Nice pics, great job. I was able to get similar results with an electric toothbrush, but as long as it works, cool!
