Today Hot water wash Rubberset 400/high mountain white TSD Barber Shoppe Merkur Progress (3.5) Astra sp (4) Pinaud FlourdeFrance Very optimum shave. Great shave, nice lather, neat equipment, great smelling scent, and finished with a rare aftershave. Hope y'all did as well, or better.
Slim Adjustable set to 9 Rapira Platinum Lux Blade Provence Sante Face Lathered 3 passes I really like the fact that Provence Sante has baby powder in it. It always leaves my face feeling wonderful. The lather, IMHO, tends to be weak and unconvincing, but it is still one of my favorites.

Very nice! I've wanted to try TSD Barber Shoppe for a while. But I'll wait! I have too many soaps at the moment. Glad to hear the scent is nice.
Good morning friends! Today's shave was a match made in heaven. Everything worked together in perfect harmony. The La Toja was silky smooth, cushiony, and slick. The Personna and Krona sung the song and the baby danced a jig! Have a fantastic day everyone!
Terrific TTFFC Shave The Colonel made optimal lather from Devil's Cut, which cushioned three drama free passes from the Futur. I finished up with the marching splash and my face feels great. I've been looking at some TTFFC soaps, I recently learned that my Blades Grim soap (Which I Love) and the Maggard soaps are made by the same Artisan. Maria Arman
Thursday's Razor: E2 w/ Chick Blade Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair Lather: Arko Post: WH and some Clubman Received my first stick of Arko yesterday so I had to try it today. Rubbed it all over my face, then started face lathering. At first the lather was weak, but I did start pretty dry since it was my first time. So I slowly added water as I was lathering. It was still disappointing for a while, until I hit the soaps water content sweet spot. The lather just exploded, it was rich, creamy, and slick. So some pros of this soap Cheap, lather is great, perfect for face lathering, and it is sort of iconic in any shave forum Some Cons Packaging is sub par (most likely due to price), it was a little drying, not as much as I have read here on TSD but just a little, and the scent Now about the scent, it is not terrible, in fact, the initial whiff of it I actually enjoyed, clean and crisp. It has a sort of after smell (if that is even a thing) where it smells like an industrial bathroom cleaner. Not repulsive, just a little unsettling. Overall a great product that IMO everyone should at least give it the benefit of the doubt
