BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is all I can say after this frigid shave. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap's lather was so rich, slick, as well as arctic-cold, and so was the Diana balm. Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: B&M Cologne Russe Soap Smooth Jasmine Tea is fantastic!! Its intoxicating. The ER100T has moved to the top of my brushes. What defines us is how well we rise after falling.
SOTD April 22, 2016 Proraso preshave cream Fendrihan CC DE / GSB Omega / Cella WH / Proraso post shave cream Wonderful shave this morning. I decided to use the Proraso pre/post cream as my post shave balm instead of shea butter and it is very nice. Surprised I haven't used it for a post-shave before. Love the fragrance of the Proraso white. Cella and I are getting along just fine.!
SOTD April 22, 2016 Prep: Warm shower Blade: Voshkod (2) Razor: Maggard MR1 handle with V2 open comb Brush: Semogue 1520 boar Lather: Soap Commander Endurance Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Fine American Blend, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Pretty nice shave again this morning with Soap Commander Endurance. Today I used the Semogue 1520 boar for the second time. I sure like that brush! Thanks again to @PickledNorthern! The Semogue starts off seemingly stiff but becomes nice and soft after a soak while showering. It has worked really well in face lathering. My sample of Endurance soap is coming to its end. I may have one more shave out of it. I'm going to reevaluate the amount tonight and may just toss the remainder. Then it will be on to something else in the den that needs to be finished off. The Voshkod blade behaved better today than yesterday.......but I don't think it's a favorite of mine. There are many other blades that have worked better and been smoother for me. But that's why we try them and why we have the YMMV codicile. Nevertheless, a pretty good shave to end the work week. I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Today was my first shave with my new to me Schick E2 injector that i traded a soap and some blades for with Connor aka @whiteboy_cannon. Love it! Very maneuverable and fun to shave with like my N1 but with a shorter handle. I'm positive it will be even more fun with a twin blade. 3 passes for a BBS finish. I was worried that the handle would slip because of it's smooth appearance but that wasn't the case. The TSD iced SubZero froze my face and my Mita balm finished it off with yet more icy goodness. Friday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Executive Man Soap: RazoRock Tuscan Oud Razor: Gillette Slim Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Green Super Stainless (4) Brush: oscar11 High Mountain White-22mmx48mm Aftershave: Tuscan Oud WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) RR Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 HMW. Easy, thick, slick, lather. 7 O’Clock Green SS still in the Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Tuscan Oud. Bob
FUTUR FRIDAY Hot water wash with nivea mens face wash Brothers bristles/ ace black badger BOMBED Soap Commander Respect Merkur Futur (3.5) Baili super blue (1) Iced L&M Florida Water Great shave today with some of my favorites. I'd been trying pif items all week. Some very nice products. Today was sort of a mini-homecoming. The passes with the futur loaded with a blade I've not used before. Very good results. Finished with iced/atomized florida water. Hope y'all did as well, or better.
