I have a Slim: 'I1', made in the U.S.A. and I was wondering if they were ever made in the U.K. If not, were they imported and sold in the U.K., at that time. I know there are older Gillette razors that are stamped 'Made in England'. Does anyone out there have any information about which razors were made outside of the U.S. please? I'm really curious.

    That's a very good question.

When I looked at photographs of Slims from, say, the US and GB, they seem to have the same weight, and have the identical "made the USA" stamping. So, I'm assuming that Slims were made in the USA and exported. I wonder if someone could verify this....

The adjustables are the only razors that were exclusively made in the U.S.A. and exported to other countries.

I seem to recall that there were something like five prototype bottom dial Fatboys that were made in the U.K., but I can't recall where I read that or when.
