  3. Do in for this! That's a plethora of great looking stuff; thanks for the chance.

Almost forgot! I started when I was 13, almost 20 years ago! My first razor was a Gillette (not 100% positive what type; researching it shows it listed as a "New Type") from 1918; that I grabbed at a flea market for .25 cents. I grabbed 10 pucks of Williams Mug shave soap (.10 cents a puck) and a Burma shave kit with a mug, brush and puck of soap for a few bucks; all on clearance at the Shaws I worked at; and a tuck of schick blades. I strayed from the path for a short while a few years back; but eventually cartridge prices became sickening and I realized the wealth of prducts available online; so I rushed back to traditional wet shaving, and have been sooooooooo happy I did!
  4. I'm in, started early April this year with and shortly after joined the TSD to learn from you all. My starter setup is a Merkur 38HD, TOBS Jermyn, Geo Trumper Skin food and an EJ best badger, also bought a Parker travel that has bit me a couple of times.

  6. Somehow I missed this until now. Glad I'm still in time - im in.

I started wet shaving in March of this year. I bought a super speed - and t 34c soon after. I HD been given a brush and soap years ago and had never really picked it up but they took up space in my drawer for all this time. Now I'm looking for space to expand to!

  7. I'm in. Last year november was my first time trying to figure out traditional wet shaving. Bought an MTO and then got an OC Gillette.
I can only find all the Bodyshop items. So I have the shave cream and the shave brush.

If somehow I got those, please choose another winner.

  9. This looks great, I'm in! Congrats on both your wet shaving and wedding anniversaries! December 2015 (fairly recently) I started with a Trader Joe's wet shaving kit and my same cart razor. Not the best quality but it was enough to give me the experience and get me hooked (still use it as my travel kit). Later I inherited a TOBS brush from my grandpa, picked up a shavette on eBay, and stepped up my soap game and picked up KMF cream.
  10. I'm in. I received my first wet shaving gear for Christmas 2014. An EJ DE89 and an AoS starter kit. I haven't looked back since.
  11. What a nice PIF. Thank you Marverel.

The journey began at Christmas of 2015. My wife gave me a Merkur 180, a badger brush and TOBS cream. It took some painful learning but it was worth it. The 180 remains my favourite razor although have since acquired a few more.

  12. I'm in I started Sept 2015 with a Microtouch One a cheap Badger brush and some VDH soap. My first TSD post was Sept 13, 2015. I am true DE convert now and have a EJ 89 and several soaps. This is a Great PIF.

  13. Wonderful PIF @Marverel !
    Thanks for supporting TSD!

    Good luck to all!
  14. Great PIF!! My first gear was the Van der Hagen razor, better known as the Weishi in disguise, the VdH blades that came with them and I added a Tweezerman brush and Proraso Green in the tub. That was in November of 2014, about a month before I found this place. I'm in!
  15. I'm in. I started with a Merkur 34C and a Omega boar brush.
  16. I'm in! Started just 4 months ago with a no name TTO from the local beauty store, William's Mug Soap (only used once before upgrading to Proraso), a Wilkinson Sword brush, and Dove aftershave balm.
  17. Started April 2016! My setup is a VDH kit with brush, mug, and soap. I am using a 1941 Gillette Ranger Tech that I watched my father use as a kid.
