You will love that one. One of my favorite injectors. I find them extremely smooth and efficient. It will bite you if you get sloppy.

Looking forward to what you think of it.

Why do you need to wait till it's warm Paul?

because I asked for the Subzero (mint&menthol thrown in). I'm the type that wouldn't use Mennen in the winters, or Clubman in the summers. But that SuzZero should feel mighty fine when June comes around(and beyond). Hopefully before that.

Out for delivery! Anticipation is killing me. Too bad I already shaved today. Can't wait to smell it though after everything I have read about it.

My blades, coming from Wisconsin, went to Chicago...then New Hampshire. Kind of a round-about way of getting to Austin, but supposed to get here tomorrow. USPS better hustle if they're gonna make it by then.

Waiting on an Aristocrat Junior. It's either a #48, #49, or #53. The only differences are the cases. This razor comes with a (gutted) late 1930's Aristocrat case. The razor and case are not a match.

I didn't expect to win, but threw a lowish snipe out there and hoped that the vauge listing title "vintage Gillette razor...." would keep prices low.

As best I can tell, these flat baseplate (3mm thick!) style Aristocrat Juniors shared the same head as the early British Aristocrats, but had the lighter, thinner, Rocket style handles. Basically, the English version of the Senator and Sheraton. There is really no American equivalent to the Aristocrat Junior. The closest thing to fitting that niche is probably the Milord razors.

The flat plate Aristocrat Juniors were made from 1948-1952. In '53 they were replaced by the #58 coronation set, and from '54 on, by the standard #58 set. The post #58 set Aristocrat Juniors are nothing more than Rockets in "Aristocrat Junior" cases.

This is my last eBay purchase for a bit, as I still owe @Morman Bridge some money for my Brit Aristocrat and have some razors that need replating.

A new bottle of Florida Water
    Three Color Plissoft Razorock brush
Zoe's Beauty Boutique "Éirinn go Brách" shaving soap

I seen the soap on sale on Etsy last night...the description sold me and after reading and watching some reviews, I pulled the trigger to try it out.
