this Permafrost soap has a very unusual kind of menthol. Most menthol creams or soaps I've used take around 15-20 seconds to begin their cooling action. Permafrost's menthol is so heavy, that as soon as you begin brushing it on to your face, it starts to kick in. The 2nd pass is about double the cooling.
Sounds good to me after a hot shower! Anybody try the mentholo ASB? I could have sworn I saw a permafrost ASB but I cant find it any more, if I even did see it to begin with.
I also have some problems with chemicals but menthol is A-OK for my skin. The Mentolo is petty good but too thick of a balm for me.
I find the Mentolo soap is fantastic. It's just a shade less cooling than Permafrost, but with the same super lather and skincare.

I started to find some products on the internet. Why is menthol so popular in Europe and not in the States? I'd also like menthol deodorant. The stronger the better. I did order some menthol in a jar from Tryphon.
Yes menthol is addictive. I just found menthol crystals. You crush them and add them to your cream or soap and watch out!!! They also just dissolve in your after shave .
